Job summary

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to join our team in the Cardiff area. You will service, repair and inspect powered access machines at customer sites and depots to high standards.

The role requires fault finding, documentation, and a proactive approach to safety and customer service. Training is provided to keep you up to date with in-house and manufacturer updates.

Qualifications

• Relevant general maintenance qualification or equiv.
• Experience in plant rental sector helpful.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding, servicing, repairs and maintenance of powered access equipment on depot and customer sites.
• Routine service and maintenance of equipment and products.
• Complete relevant paperwork in line with procedures.
• Refurbishment of equipment when needed.
• Collaborate with depots to maintain workshop performance.
• Advise on repair costs and possible write-offs to customers.
• Ensure van is stocked with spare parts and service records are updated.
