Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd. is seeking a proactive Workshop Service Engineer to join our depot team in the UK. You will inspect, repair and maintain powered access machines, including booms and scissor lifts, with full training provided.

The role offers a competitive salary, life assurance, Westfield health care, 25 days' holiday and a pension. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00–17:30, with opportunities to grow across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and fault diagnostics.
Mature, able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
Commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Service Engineer in depot workshop operations.
Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and ensure safe operation of machines.
Repair machines at depot or on site to manufacturer specifications and company policy.
Complete planned maintenance and keep the fleet clean and presentable.
Handover machines to customers and demonstrate safe operation.
Complete paperwork: engineer reports, off hire, service sheets.
Update machine status in the system (PDI carried out, repair, inspection).
