Job summary

Packaged Water Solutions is seeking a capable Servicing Engineer to maintain, diagnose and repair packaged water systems at customer sites. This is a practical field role requiring problem-solving and independent work, with a focus on delivering professional service.

The role involves planned servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on pumps, valves, filters and UV equipment across customer sites in the UK. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in plumbing, pump servicing, pipefitting or mechanical maintenance in field service environments.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and equipment manuals; strong fault-finding skills.
• Commitment to safety, documentation, and working independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance visits at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and system faults, identify root causes and carry out effective repairs.
• Service pumps, valves, filters, UV equipment, vessels, gauges, controls and associated pipework.
• Replace worn components and undertake minor pipework modifications using appropriate materials.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of new or modified packaged water systems.
• Carry out pressure, leak, flow and functional checks in line with safety procedures.
• Complete service reports, record readings and parts used, and communicate follow-up actions promptly.
• Manage tools, test equipment, spare parts and vehicle stock for each visit.
• Work safely on customer premises and adhere to site rules and company procedures.
• Build positive customer relationships and provide clear maintenance advice.
