Job summary

Deponti is seeking a Service Engineer to be the technical cornerstone for the UK, with hands-on work across the country and occasional travel into Europe. You’ll diagnose issues on-site or remotely, support installers, and feed field insights back to R&D to improve outdoor living solutions.

Expect a varied role with travel around the UK, collaboration with leadership, and hands-on training of partners to ensure capable, confident installation teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience with technical installations (construction, solar shading, assembly, electrical work)
• Solid understanding of both mechanical and electronic systems
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly with patience and conviction
• Willingness to travel around the UK and overnight when needed

Responsibilities

• On-site support and remote assistance by phone, email or video
• Diagnose issues quickly and deliver solutions for installers
• Join installation teams for hands-on onboarding
• Contribute to clearer manuals, diagrams and instructions
• Feed insights from field experience back to product development
• Train partners to become confident installers
