Job summary

A leading dehumidification company is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support and maintenance services. This full-time role involves installations, repairs, and diagnostics of equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical and mechanical background and excellent problem-solving skills. A driving license is preferred and travel is required on a nationwide basis.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field service engineering or a related field.
• Driving Licence (preferred).
• UK residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Provide training to customers on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Document service activities, including service reports and parts usage.
• Collaborate with the engineering and office team to provide feedback on product performance.

Position Details

Salary: Based on Experience

Start date: ASAP

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with infrequent weekend overtime available

Location: We are based in Glossop, Derbyshire. This role is a nationwide “on the road” position, meaning there may be time spent away from home. When working away from home is required, this will be carefully managed to ensure a good work life balance.

• Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites

Experience Required

• Proven experience in field service engineering or a related field
