Omega Resource Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a northern division operating in the M62 Corridor. The role involves assembling, installing and repairing complex components in a production environment with a focus on safety and customer service.

The candidate should bring a mix of electrical, mechanical and IT skills, strong communication and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with experience in servicing commercial equipment and flexible start times as needed.

Qualifications

• A wide range of electrical, mechanical and computer-based engineering skills.
• Good communication, IT and customer liaison skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, investigate and repair machine faults of electrical and mechanical nature.
• Plan and prepare parts/equipment and resources for repairs.
• Communicate escalations or delays to CSC/Supervisor/Customer and report as required.
• Assist customers and internal staff with spare parts identification.
• Customer facing – clear communication to customer and take ownership of faults/calls.
• Observe Health and Safety & Working time regulations and adhere to company policies.
• Provide Helpdesk/Telephone/Remote support when required.
