Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medical imaging equipment at customer sites in Birmingham and surrounding areas. The role offers a competitive base salary, a company car, performance bonus, and overtime with an OTE of £45,000 in Year 1.

As a field-based position, you will work largely independently, travelling to customer sites for on-site service, maintenance and installation.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electronics, Engineering, or related field.
• Previous field service experience with fault finding on electronic/medical equipment; strong IT, MS Office and networking skills.
• Excellent customer-facing skills; able to interface with customers and staff at all levels within Siemens Healthineers.
• Must hold a full UK driving license.

Responsabilités

• Carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of Siemens Healthineers products within designated product range.
• Assist under supervision with other products.
• Maintain test equipment, tools and company property in good and working order.
• Escalate situations where customer satisfaction or contractual obligations may be at risk.
• Maintain communications and teamwork with Managers and Colleagues.
• Comply with work instructions, quality policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team processes.
• Complete personal administration and mandatory training on time.
• Provide out of hours technical service support and weekend working when applicable.
• Attend product training courses in Europe and USA to build competence.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within customer services to uphold company values.
