Job summary

TRS Consulting is looking for a Field Service Engineer to service and calibrate medical diagnostic systems in NHS pathology labs. Travel to customer sites across the UK and support diagnostics products, including flow cytometry.

The ideal candidate has a strong field service or electronic/electro-mechanical background, ONC/HNC level in electronics, and excellent customer service skills. Company car, pension, healthcare and life insurance are included.

Qualifications

• Strong background in field service or technical support within electronics/electro-mechanical service
• Experience in high-value electronics capital equipment is welcome
• Impeccable customer service skills for customer-facing environments
• Qualified to ONC/HNC level or above in electronics or related discipline

Responsibilities

• The service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of diagnostic systems in pathology/NHS labs
• Support flow cytometry, cell separation and diagnostics products at customer sites
