Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Medical Diagnostic Systems to service, install, calibrate and repair sophisticated lab diagnostics across NHS environments.

You will support flow cytometry and related products, working at customer sites with a strong emphasis on first-time fix and customer care. A field service background in electronics or electro-mechanical equipment is essential, with ONC/HNC in electronics preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum ONC/HNC level in electronics or similar technical discipline.
• Strong background in field service or technical support within electronics/electro-mechanical domains.
• Open to applications from diverse high-value electronics backgrounds (e.g., microscopy, cameras, lasers, x-ray detection, biomedical engineering).
• Excellent customer service skills and confidence in customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of laboratory diagnostic systems.
• Support flow cytometry, cell separation and diagnostics products at customer sites.
