Job summary

Roche Diagnostics seeks a Field Service Engineer to safeguard uptime of molecular, tissue and serum work areas, plus analytics and digital tools. The role covers field-based support across Wales, East Anglia, and surrounding areas or a designated customer base.

You will diagnose electro-mechanical faults, perform preventive maintenance, and generate reports to improve efficiency at customer sites. You will train customers and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in IVD or medical diagnostics support is desirable.
• Strong analytical and fault-finding abilities with regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide electro-mechanical hardware support across Roche diagnostics systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and fault resolution on field equipment.
• Deliver customer training and knowledge transfer on Roche solutions.
• Maintain compliant documentation and regulatory records.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders to align service objectives.
