Job summary

Jungheinrich Internal in Telford is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on materials handling equipment, ensuring uptime and safety. You will report to the Area Service Manager within Customer Service and work 40 hours a week.

The role requires mechanical and electrical bias, experience in maintenance/service backgrounds such as automotive, HGV, forklift or mobile plant, and a clean driving license.

Qualifications

• Mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any maintenance/service background.
• Experience in automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex-forces military vehicle Engineers.
• Clean driving license and customer-facing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Accurately complete service reports and time sheets.
• Manage and control parts stock.
• Build customer relationships through good communication and meet contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with after sales office for repair times and ETA.
• Identify chargeable follow-up work and complete in a timely manner to optimize external revenue.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are met.
• Identify sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment and After Sales products.
• Act as a Company Ambassador at all times.
