Job summary

Jungheinrich in Kent is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service materials handling equipment across customer sites. This field-based role offers autonomy, hands‑on problem solving, and a chance to build strong customer relationships while maintaining high service standards.

You should have strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills, proven experience in field service or customer‑facing roles, and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose faults using electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Complete accurate service reports, documentation, and parts management.
• Deliver excellent customer service on-site, acting as a company ambassador.
• Identify upsell opportunities and additional work where appropriate.
• Ensure full health & safety compliance at all times.
