Job summary

Jungheinrich in Birmingham is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the Birmingham region. You will perform PPMs and reactive repairs on materials handling equipment, diagnose faults, and deliver outstanding on-site service while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working in a field-based or customer-facing role.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose faults using electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Complete accurate service reports, documentation, and parts management.
• Deliver excellent customer service on-site, acting as a company ambassador.
• Identify upsell opportunities and additional work where appropriate.
• Ensure full health & safety compliance at all times.
