  • Accurately diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to minimise machine downtime and maximise customer productivity.

  • Commission machines and attachments, complete customer handovers, deliver basic operator familiarisation, and ensure all commissioning documentation is completed accurately.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, operators, supervisors and maintenance personnel, providing a professional and responsive service.

  • Proactively identify developing faults, wear trends and maintenance requirements, providing recommendations to prevent breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.

  • Identify housekeeping, contamination, operational and maintenance issues that may impact machine performance, and offer practical solutions to reduce unplanned downtime.

  • Produce detailed inspection and service reports, clearly outlining findings, recommended corrective actions and opportunities to improve equipment performance.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company procedures and industry best practices.

  • Process warranty and return parts correctly, ensuring they are cleaned, packaged and labelled to the required standard.

  • Work collaboratively with depot-based support teams and provide assistance to fellow engineers as required.

  • Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

  • Conduct customer courtesy visits and proactive fleet inspections to identify potential issues, prevent failures and improve machine availability.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service delivery and the overall customer experience.

  • Maintain exceptional standards of professionalism, including personal presentation, company vehicle condition and equipment care, while acting as a positive ambassador for the Liebherr brand at all times.
