Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. is seeking Field Service Engineers to cover Kent, West London and Oxford. The role involves servicing and repairing earthmoving equipment on customer sites or depots to ensure quality and timely completion.

You will work as part of the After Sales team, maintain safety standards, and build strong relationships with customers to enable reliable service and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry.
• Team player with good communication and a flexible approach to work.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery on customer premises or on site or at depot.
• Diagnosing faults and taking appropriate action.
• Returning warranty and other parts cleaned and on time with correct packing and labelling.
• Reading and filing all service information in accordance with guidelines.
• Undertaking work in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Escalating actions for broken or damaged equipment as needed.
• Coordinating with the depot support team and assisting others when required.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and following safety requirements.
• Supporting admin and paperwork and ensuring timely completion when required.
• Coordinating with customers to understand needs and adopt a flexible approach to meeting them.
• Ensuring post-work site is clean and left in a customer-satisfying condition.

A vacancy has arisen within our Earth Moving After Sales department based out of Biggleswade for Field Service Engineers covering Kent, South Coast, West London and Oxford.

The role contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd by carrying out effective maintenance and repair work on equipment out at customer premises or on site, ensuring both quality standards and timelines for repair are optimised at all times leading to increased customer confidence and repeat business whilst working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.

Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out, servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery and equipment at customer premises or on site or if required at the appropriate depot.
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and action appropriately.
• Returning all warranty and other return parts cleaned and on time ensuring correct processes for packing and labelling.
• Ensuring all service information is read, understood and filed.
• Undertaking all work strictly in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Escalating the appropriate action in relation to broken or damaged company equipment.
• Developing an effective working relationship with the support team at the depot and can support others where required.
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for self and others through a clear understanding of workplace safety requirements and systems.
• Supporting the roles of others ensuring administration and paperwork is completed effectively and on time as and when required.
• Coordinating with the customer ensuring that customer needs are understood and that a flexible approach is adopted to meeting their needs.
• Working with the customer in mind, making sure that quality work standards are maintained consistently and that post work, the repair site is clean and left in a condition that satisfies the customer.

Your Profile

• Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and / or industry
• Team player
• Good communicator at all levels
• Flexible approach to work
