Job summary

Modaxo is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair parking and transport payment kiosks across the UK. You’ll ensure systems are operational, diagnose faults quickly, and provide on-site customer support in busy environments.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, IT skills, and the ability to work independently with regular travel from East Nottingham/Northampton to sites nationwide. A driving licence and relevant engineering qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a similar field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain equipment and ticket kiosks across a wide area.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to clients.
• Maintain accurate parts and service records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, support teams, and management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
