Utilise Recruitment Ltd on behalf of an established technology solutions provider invites applications for a Field Service Engineer to install, service and troubleshoot car parking systems, ANPR and kiosks across the Midlands.

Based primarily in Birmingham, the role requires strong IP networking, Windows OS and fault‑finding skills, with a company vehicle and on‑call rota included in the package. DOE salary up to £35,000 plus full benefits and first‑fix bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in Field Service/IT/Network/Electronic engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switches/routers, Windows OS.
• Able to diagnose hardware and software faults and support network equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to work independently on multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain car park management systems.
• Service and support parking kiosks, ticketing and access control.
• Diagnose faults in IP networks, switches/routers, ANPR software.
• Maintain Windows-based software and payment/kiosk hardware.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance visits.
• Configure networked devices and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Prepare service reports and documentation.
• Meet customer SLA and response times.
• Provide on-site customer support and on-call rota.
