Job summary

Cammax Limited is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair parking and transport payment kiosks at customer sites. You will ensure systems are fully operational and aligned with customer requirements while delivering excellent technical support.

The role involves daily travel across Peterborough, its surroundings, and the South of the UK, with regular travel to the rest of the UK and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a similar field desirable.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

***Location: East Nottingham / Northampton based with regular travel throughout the UK***

Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week. Working time will fall within the Company’s core operating hours of 07:00 to 19:00, Monday to Sunday, and will be arranged on a rota basis.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our Parking & Transport Solutions team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing parking and transport payment kiosks at customer sites. You’ll ensure each system is fully operational, reliable, and aligned with customer requirements, while delivering excellent technical support and service.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting and IT skills, thrives on solving problems quickly, and takes pride in providing a great customer experience.

You should be comfortable working independently in the field, diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and ensuring kiosks operate smoothly in busy, customer facing environments.

The role will involve daily travel mainly throughout Peterborough, the surrounding areas and the South of the UK. The role will also involve regular travel throughout the rest of the UK and occasional overnight stays.

Cammax designs and manufactures touch screen kiosks at its purpose built factory in Castleford. We have a range of standard kiosks and also produce bespoke designs. We develop the software applications and customise kiosk hardware and peripherals as required. Cammax employs a nationwide team of engineers who carry out site surveys, system installation and comprehensive on-site maintenance.
