Job summary

Utilise Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of a UK-manufactured, intelligent parking solutions company for a Field Service Engineer based in Chelmsford/Harlow area.

You will carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on parking and access-control systems, with hands-on work on cameras, kiosks, barriers, PCs, printers and related hardware. The role offers a £30,000-£36,000 salary plus a First-Time-Fix Bonus, a company vehicle, fuel card, 25 days holiday (+BH), pension, life

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in field-based service or maintenance on electromechanical or low-voltage systems.
• Experience with CCTV/ANPR, alarms, ticketing or vending, or car park equipment.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on parking and access-control systems.
• Work on hardware including cameras, kiosks, barriers, PCs, printers and touchscreens.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and software faults.
• Install, terminate and test cabling.
• Work safely around power supplies and low-voltage systems.
• Support installation and upgrade projects as required.
• Manage your workload independently across Essex.
