Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in the West Midlands is recruiting a Field Service Engineer (Hydraulics) to service, maintain, install and repair specialist industrial equipment on customer sites across the UK. The role involves fault-finding on hydraulic and mechanical systems and performing planned preventative maintenance in varied environments.

You will require a full UK driving licence and be comfortable working on heavy machinery on-site.

Qualifications

  • Experience servicing hydraulic systems in industrial equipment.
  • Ability to fault-find on hydraulic and mechanical faults.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Reading engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery at customer sites
  • Diagnosing and rectifying hydraulic and mechanical faults

Field Service Engineer (Hydraulics) West Midlands | £30,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle


We're recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established engineering business supporting customers across the UK. This is a field-based role focused on the service, maintenance, installation and repair of specialist industrial equipment, with hydraulics forming a key part of the day-to-day work.

The Role


  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery at customer sites

  • Diagnosing and rectifying hydraulic and mechanical faults

  • Installing and commissioning equipment

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance

  • Replacing and repairing hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders and pipework

  • Producing service reports and supporting customers with technical advice

  • Ensuring work is carried out safely and to a high standard

  • This is a mobile role covering customer sites, offering a varied working environment with no two days the same.
