Job summary

Accelerated People Management is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Hull to service, repair, and maintain heavy industrial machinery across the UK and Ireland. The role offers substantial overtime and a clear development path within an established engineering group with international project exposure.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, a strong hands-on skillset, a full UK driving licence, and a readiness to travel and stay away as required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in mechanical servicing, maintenance or engineering within heavy industrial environments
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel and stay away when required

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing mechanical components including gearboxes, bearings and large industrial machinery
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and proactive servicing programmes
• Providing hands-on technical support to customers across the UK and Ireland, with occasional international travel
• Coordinating service activities with the UK-based engineering team and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
