Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Service Engineer for high voltage training based in Glasgow with nationwide UK coverage. You will travel 3-4 nights a week to National Grid sites and take part in fast-tracked HV authorisation training to service and install monitoring equipment for the UK power network.

Are you a Field Service Engineer from an Electrical background looking for structured training and paid-for courses to become a technical expert in High Voltage electrical distribution technology?

Do you want a role where you\'ll work away from home 3-4 nights a week working on National Grid sites up and down the UK and be rewarded through a lucrative bonus scheme?

In this role you will go through fast-tracked High Voltage authorisation training to work on some of the most interesting projects across the UK. You will be servicing and installing high-tech condition monitoring equipment used to predict outages in the UK Power network. Once certified, you will be helping lead jobs and train up the next generation of electrical Technicians.

This company have built a profitable niche within monitoring equipment used to prevent and detect anomalies across the UK\'s electrical distribution Network. Off the back of an influx of work, they\'re looking to expand the team to keep up with demand.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer from an Electrical background who is comfortable staying away from home 3-4 nights per week looking for funded training to become a technical expert on High Voltage technology.

The Role:

• Attending High Voltage electricity distribution sites across the UK
• Training from a Glasgow based Office and on-site with the National Grid
• Helping run jobs once fully qualified
• Training up Technicians and supporting their career development
• Working away from home 3-4 nights per week
