Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity to join our Grid Connections Service business as a Field Service Engineer (Electrical). You will contribute to the execution of the service strategy and business growth by delivering high-quality inspection, maintenance, installation, commissioning and emergency support services for medium-voltage electrical infrastructure across the UK.
Working as part of a team of experienced engineers and technicians, you will support industrial and commercial customers, including many blue-chip organisations, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of switchgear, transformers, protection systems and associated equipment up to 33kV.
You will play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and efficient service activities whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality, technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
Please note: This is a highly mobile, field-based role requiring travel across the UK. Successful candidates should expect frequent overnight stays away from home, eventual participation in an on-call standby rota and occasional weekend working to support customer requirements and emergency response activities.
