Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Electrician (Specialist Training) to join a well-established engineering business. You will receive structured product training before being sent out on your own, working on high-spec electrical power equipment with door-to-door travel across the UK.

The role covers fault finding, installation, commissioning and repair of DC battery chargers and related substation power equipment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician or electr. biased field service engineer
• Willing to travel UK-wide and stay away from home
• Full UK driving licence

Are you an Electrician or Electrically-biased Field Service Engineer looking for a role that will train you on specialist equipment, develop you technically and support long-term progression within an established engineering business?

On offer is a secure, permanent position where you will receive structured product training before being sent out on your own, working on high-spec electrical power equipment with door-to-door travel and plenty of overtime available to boost your earnings.

This is a well-established engineering manufacturer and service provider, trading for over 45 years and operating as an employee-owned business. They are known for quality, long-term retention and developing engineers through the business, and due to continued growth they are now looking to expand their service team.

In this field-based role you will travel UK-wide (with regular stays away) to carry out fault finding, installation, commissioning and repairs on DC battery chargers and related substation power equipment, providing technical support and reporting back to the service team.

This role would suit a qualified electrician or Electrical Field Service Engineer who wants specialist training, a technically varied field role and clear long-term development prospects.

The Role:

• Fault finding, installation, commissioning and repair of specialist electrical power equipment
• Field based role covering customer sites across the UK with regular stays away
• 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with overtime available and door-to-door travel

The Person:

• Qualified Electrician or Electrically biased field service engineer
• Happy with UK-wide travel and frequent staying away
• Full UK driving licence
