Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Agriculture)

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire (accepting applications from surrounding counties)

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 base, OTE £45,000-£50,000+

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-15:30 + Overtime @ 1.5x up to 48 hours, anything over paid @ 2x

The Client

Interaction Technical has partnered with a growing, market-leading dealer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment based in Gloucestershire. Due to business growth, they are seeking an electromechanical field engineer in and around Cirencester to maintain, repair, and service agricultural machinery.

The Package

• 30 days holiday including bank holidays
• Overtime after 39 hours paid at 1.5x, over 48 hours paid at 2x
• Regular overtime availability (average 15-20 hours/week)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service, and repair agricultural machinery (tractors, combiners, bailers, JCB telehandlers)
• Travel to customer sites to maintain and repair machinery
• Perform diagnostics on mechanical and electrical faults
• Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical repairs
• Liaise with clients to diagnose faults and provide solutions

Requirements

• Previous experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities (essential)
• Experience in the agricultural industry (advantageous)
• Fault finding, repair, and service experience (advantageous)
• Experience with engines and batteries (advantageous)
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Drivers License
