Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) in Bolton. The role involves service, maintenance, and breakdowns on CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems, with a customer-facing remit and a Monday-to-Friday territory coverage across the surrounding area.

You will work on 450KW+ equipment, require familiarity with CHP and industrial plants, and hold electrical or mechanical qualifications or time served.

Qualifications

• Experience working with 450KW+ equipment.
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar.
• Experience as a Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer/Marine Engineer.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns.
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role.
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory.
