Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) to service and maintain CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems. You will diagnose electrical faults, perform repairs and travel within a defined UK territory on a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role requires experience with 450KW+ equipment, electrical/mechanical qualifications and a customer-facing approach. A vehicle, training and progression opportunities are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+ equipment.
• Familiar with CHP, gas engines, generators, or industrial plant.
• Role requires service, maintenance and fault-finding capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdown responses.
• Work on CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role.
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory.

Background Required:

• Experience working with 450KW+
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar
• Experience as a Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Marine Engineer
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
