Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) to join their team in Bolton. The role involves servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CHP and gas engine systems across a regional territory.

You will be responsible for electrical fault finding, customer facing service, and working Monday to Friday. A strong background with 450kW+ equipment and time served qualifications are required, with progression and training opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+.
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar.
• Experience as a Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Marine Engineer.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC)
• Customer facing role
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory
