Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is representing a leading energy company in Bolton to hire a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation). This role focuses on servicing and maintaining CHP and gas engines within the renewable energy sector.

You will handle electrical and mechanical tasks, travel across the surrounding territory, and benefit from a base salary of £37,000–£38,750 with overtime, a company vehicle, training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+ equipment or similar industrial plant.
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators and renewable energy systems.
• Experience as a Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer/Marine Engineer.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns.
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role.
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory.
