Job summary

Shannon White Technical Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover South London. You will service and install WaterBars water dispense equipment in commercial environments and homes, providing excellent customer service and ensuring safety and high standards.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with no weekend work. Salary up to £37,000 OTE, plus basic £31,000, up to £500 monthly incentives and a company vehicle. Travel may be required to sites across South London.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Plumbing/white goods or water dispenser industry experience beneficial; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the company with excellent customer service and presentable appearance.
• Prepare and install WaterBars water dispense equipment in various environments.
• Carry out routine servicing to equipment to company standards.
• Perform fault finding and repair at customer premises.
• Ensure work is safe, neat, and of high standard.
• Highlight sales opportunities to the appropriate team.
• Maintain company vehicle, keeping it clean, tidy and roadworthy.

Field Service Engineer

Salary: Up to c£37,000 (OTE) pa. Up to c£31,000 pa basic + up to £500 per month in incentives + vehicle

Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading name within the drinking water dispensers, as we are currently seeking a Field Service Engineers to cover South London. Some additional travel may be required.

With over 90,000 homes served, being a Field Service Engineer in this role isn't just about taking care of the equipment, it is about giving the customers great service every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the face of the company for our customers demonstrating outstanding customer service including good personal appearance and great communication skills
• Prepare and install WaterBars (water dispense equipment) in a variety of different environments including commercial businesses, government establishments and peoples' homes
• Carry out routine servicing to our range of equipment to company standards and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Carry out competent fault finding and diagnostic tests on our equipment, repairing faults that are identified on the customer's premises
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, tidily and to a high standard
• Pass on any great sales opportunities to the right team
• Responsible for maintaining your company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, tidy and roadworthy at all times

Person Specification

Competencies

• Self-motivated and happy to work on your own
• Excellent communication and customer relation skills are essential in this customer facing role
• Punctual, reliable with a desire to provide excellent customer service
• Duties will include lifting and carrying weights of up to 20kg

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer
• Full clean driving licence
• Any experience/ understanding of plumbing, white goods, or the water dispenser industry (EDWCA) would be beneficial, full training will be given
