Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a nationwide service provider, servicing Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding regions. You will service, repair and maintain a range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, with full training and industry certification provided.

The role includes on-call duties (1 in 4 weekends) and evenings during the week, plus a company van, tools, workwear and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar.
• Experience repairing, maintaining or servicing mechanical equipment or machinery.
• Understanding of hydraulics and basic fault finding on 12/24V electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and unplanned service and breakdown repairs to customer fleets across Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.
• Participate in on-call rota (1 in 4 weekends) and some evenings during the week.

Field Service Engineer - Nationwide Service Provider - Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire - Salary: £29,120 - £33,280 + door to door + call out + overtime = £40k - £50k ++ Company Van + Tools + Workwear + Training

On joining this business you will be trained on how to repair and service a wide range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment including load lifters, steps, cranes, ramps, winches and moving decks and in turn gain a recognised industry certification.

As Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair to customers vehicle fleets throughout Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and the local surrounding region.

The role will require you to be on-call 1 in 4 weekends and 2 evenings during the week.

You will ideally be qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar; have previous experience in repairing, maintaining or servicing mechanical equipment, plant or machinery as well as experience or an understanding of hydraulics and basic fault finding on 12 & 24 volt electrics although full training will be provided.
