Job summary

NCR Atleos in Central Yorkshire is seeking a Field Service Engineer to diagnose faults, repair ATM modules on-site, and maintain equipment across the assigned territory. This field role involves travel within the region and requires a full UK manual driving licence.

You will operate a 42.5-hour work week with weekend rota, receive full training, and have access to a company vehicle and fuel card. The position offers £31,000–£33,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Full UK manual driving license.
• Strong local geographical knowledge.
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair.
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance.
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, quick learner, and capable of performing well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace ATM modules on-site.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region.
• Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and SLA compliance.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies.
• Travel as required within territory; lift and handle toolkit/parts as needed.

• Job Title: Field Service Engineer
• Location: Central Yorkshire – Field Work
• Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
• Hours: 42.5 per week across 5days with weekend work on rota basis

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose faults and perform repair or replacement of ATM modules on-site
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region
• Take ownership of customer issues or incidents, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with Service Level Agreements
• Carry out work with adherence to the Health & Safety Policy
• Role may involve prolonged travel, lifting and carrying toolkits/parts of varying weights, and bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods
• Full training and equipment provided. Company vehicle available for personal use (fuel card included; BIK and mileage usage fee per mile apply)

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 42.5-hour contract with weekend work on rota basis; 5 days over 7 (8.5 hours + 30 minutes brake)
