Job summary

Strive Supply Chain LLP is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join its Basildon, Essex operation. The role involves traveling from Basildon to customer sites across the UK to install, service, maintain, diagnose and repair laser engraving systems, with progression as knowledge grows.

X candidates may have existing field service experience or undergo in-house training and qualifications, including BOHS P601 where appropriate. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with real variety.

Are you already working in field service and ready to apply your skills to specialist technology? Or are you practical, dependable and determined to learn a skilled trade in a new career? Our client designs and manufactures bespoke laser engraving machines and, following exceptional growth, is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join its Basildon, Essex operation.

This is a hands‑on, customer-facing role with real variety. Travelling from the Basildon base to customer sites across the UK, you will install, service, maintain, diagnose and repair laser systems, helping customers keep their equipment operating safely and effectively.

There are two routes into this opportunity. Experienced Field Service Engineers can bring established fault-finding, maintenance and customer-support skills to a specialist product range. Applicants without field service experience will receive structured in-house training, supervised practical development and any required external qualifications, including BOHS P601 where appropriate. Responsibility will increase as your knowledge and confidence grow.

Laser‑industry experience is not required.
