TEAM is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service specialist laser and IPL equipment across the South Coast. You will handle installations, preventive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs with comprehensive product training provided.

The role offers a basic salary with strong overtime/bonus potential, company vehicle, and generous leave. You will manage your workload across the South Coast and travel to customer sites with a full UK driving licence.

Formación

• Technical background in engineering, electronics, physics or related discipline.
• Experience diagnosing, maintaining or repairing electrical/electronic equipment.
• Good IT skills and ability to complete technical reports accurately.

Responsabilidades

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll use your technical expertise to solve problems, keep advanced laser systems performing at their best and enjoy the freedom of managing your own workload across the South Coast.

You’ll be working with cutting‑edge medical and aesthetic technology, supporting hospitals, clinics and distributors with everything from installations and preventative maintenance to fault‑finding and repairs. You’ll also receive comprehensive product training, so you don't need to have worked with medical devices or lasers before.

• £30,000-£48,000 basic salary, depending on experience, with realistic total earnings of £38,000-£56,000 through overtime and bonus.

Your responsibilities as a Field Service Engineer

• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on specialist laser and IPL equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and reliably.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic and technical faults at customer sites.
• Install, commission and calibrate new equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support to hospitals, clinics and distributors, resolving issues and minimising downtime.
• Complete accurate maintenance records, reports and technical documentation in line with medical device regulations.
• Manage your regional workload and customer visits, maintaining high standards of technical support.

What we’re looking for in a Field Service Engineer

• A technical background in engineering, electronics, physics or a related discipline, gained through qualifications or practical experience.
• Experience diagnosing, maintaining or repairing electrical or electronic equipment.
• Previous experience with medical devices, laser systems or IPL technology would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
• Good IT skills, including the ability to complete technical reports and maintenance records accurately.
• A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to customer sites across the South Coast.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, full‑time day shifts, with travel to customer sites across the South Coast.
