AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking a service-oriented AV/UC Engineer to provide pro-active and reactive maintenance across customer sites in the UK and Europe. The role combines dedicated onsite support for a major client with broader duties maintaining AV/UC systems on customer premises.

You will diagnose faults, test, repair, and implement AV/VC/UC solutions, reading schematics and installing cabling as required. A strong customer service mindset and independent work style are essential.

• Experience with Electronics, Audio Visual/Video Conferencing and Unified Communications Systems.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced AV/VC/UC environments.

The main purpose of the role is to provide pro-active and re-active service and maintenance of audio visual and Unified Communication equipment on customers premises throughout the UK and Europe.

What you’ll do

This position is a hybrid role, focusing on two key areas. Firstly, provide dedicated onsite service to one of our major clients. This will be to provide flexible holiday cover for the existing onsite team. Secondly, to provide pro-active and re-active service and maintenance of audio visual and Unified Communication equipment on customers premises throughout the UK and Europe.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, repair, test, implementation, and operation of all aspects of audio visual, video conference and Unified Communication systems.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Fault finding and repair of AV/UC Systems at client’s premises.

• Develop close relationships with clients to exploit all potential opportunities for service contracts that may arise, either alone, or with the relevant AVISPL colleagues.

• Liaise with other internal departments, clients and contractors both in-house and on client’s sites.

• Provide a courteous, comprehensive and assistive service for all clients and their representatives.

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural drawings.

• Perform service tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner in accordance with our service ticketing system, duties may include installation and termination of cabling and hardware.
