Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd in Dorking is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) with a mechanical bias to service CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems across a defined territory.

The role requires hands-on fault finding, maintenance and breakdown work on 450KW+ plants, with a Monday to Friday pattern, door-to-door pay, a company vehicle and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+ power plants or similar industrial equipment.
• Familiar with CHP, gas engines, generators and industrial plant.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdowns of CHP and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role with territory coverage, Monday to Friday.

• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC)

• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory

Background Required:

• Experience working with 450KW+
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar
• Experience as a Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Marine Engineer
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
