Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) in the Dorking area. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing CHP and renewable energy systems, with a strong emphasis on electrical fault finding and customer-facing support.

The position offers a base salary of £37,000–£38,750 with overtime (OTE £60K+), a company vehicle, training and clear technical progression within a growing renewable power generation company.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450KW+ equipment and energy systems.
• Familiarity with CHP, gas engines, generators and industrial plants.
• Time served or equivalent electrical/mechanical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdown support across territory.
• Work on CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three-phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role managing on-site tasks and reporting.
• Monday to Friday work; territory coverage around Dorking/Surrounding area.
