Job summary

Zip Water is seeking a Field Service Engineer to work in the field, delivering exceptional customer service and repairs to Zip products at customer sites across the region.

The role includes a dedicated 6-week induction and ongoing on-the-job training. You will promote Zip products and HydroCare services, striving for first-time fixes while adhering to health and safety requirements and completing all admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairs and fault finding.
• Face-to-face customer service experience is desirable.
• Plumbing or electrical qualification required.
• UK driving license is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in the field services team, delivering excellent customer experience.
• Complete administration procedures in line with business requirements.
• Support promotion of Zip products and HydroCare services on-site.
• Strive for industry-leading first-time fix rates by repairing Zip products promptly and safely.

Experience as a Field Engineer is not essential; we will provide internal training to successful candidates with technical understanding and a background focused on repairs and fault finding to become expert Zip Water engineers.

• Dedicated 6-week City & Guilds assured induction programme and continued on-job training to give you the skills and knowledge to allow you to achieve your goals.
• Promote Zip products and HydroCare services by using your knowledge whilst on site to recommend and advise customers on the best solution to solve their hydration requirements
• Focused to achieve industry leading first time fix rate through the repair and service of all Zip products, in a timely manner, whilst adhering to all technical and health and safety requirements.
• Complete administration procedures in line with business requirements

Skills

• Technical understanding and a background focused on repairs and fault finding
• A natural problem solver with great attention to detail, essential to remain up to date and ensure processes are followed for example replenishment of parts stocked
• Face-to-face Customer Service experience, and an ability to promote and sell, desirable but not essential
• Plumbing or electrical qualification
• UK Driving license
• Previous experience of fault diagnostics
• Open to new ways of working whilst embracing exciting new products, services and technology as we grow and develop it.
