Job summary

KPI RECRUITING LTD in the Wales region is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to grow an established salon portfolio and win new business across a territory with significant growth potential in premium beauty.

You will build relationships with salon owners, drive sales growth, coach partners on retail campaigns, and manage travel and CRM to maximise opportunities. Strong negotiation, prospecting and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in field sales, business development or regional management.
• Experience in hair, beauty, spa or wellness would be welcome.
• Strong negotiation skills with confidence discussing commercial opportunities.
• Proactive prospecting and ability to meet targets.
• Excellent organisation to manage a busy territory independently.
• Comfort using CRM systems, sales data and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new salon partnerships through targeted prospecting, meetings and tailored proposals.
• Build relationships with salon owners and their teams, understanding what their businesses need to grow.
• Develop existing accounts through regular reviews, sales planning and relevant product opportunities.
• Support partners to improve retail sales through demonstrations, coaching and campaign activity.
• Collaborate with education and marketing teams to bring launches and promotions to life.
• Manage diary and travel to maximise territory coverage.
• Track sales performance, maintain CRM and forecast upcoming opportunities.
• Represent the business at industry events and salon activations.
