Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a proactive Sales Support Engineer to join the Separation Sales team in the UK. The role focuses on commissioning, optimisation and ongoing performance of environmental process systems across the UK, with regular travel to customer sites and a company-provided van for site work.

You will support trials, testing and process improvements while building strong relationships with customers and collaborating with UK and Germany teams.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical or engineering qualification or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Hands-on, practical approach with interest in process equipment, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• On-site trials and sample testing at customer locations to assess process performance.
• Provide practical technical assistance, troubleshooting and process optimisation support.
• Deliver training and operational guidance to customer operators.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and technical support.
• Support development of new business opportunities by visiting prospective customers and providing technical input.
• Collaborate with UK and German colleagues to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Provide regular updates and reports on trial results, project progress and customer feedback.
