Job summary

LJ Recruitment is recruiting for a Field Sales Consultant on behalf of a leading Managed Services Provider. The role is office-based in Broxbourne with field travel, offering £30,000-£40,000 per year plus commission and a self-employed option (45% commission on sales).

You will generate and close new business in IT and telecoms, build relationships with clients, and tailor solutions with the technical team. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for client visits.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales experience in IT/telecoms/MSP environments.
• Strong solution-selling and negotiation capabilities tailored to client needs.
• Ability to self-source leads and manage a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and solution selling to potential clients.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to demonstrate the value of managed services solutions.
• Develop tailored IT/telecom solutions with the technical team for client needs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with the telesales team to ensure sufficient leads and close deals.
• Actively manage the sales pipeline with consistent follow-up and progress.
• Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to business growth.
• Drive to client sites regularly; a full, clean driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
