Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd is exclusively recruiting an experienced Sales Executive for an industrial paints and coatings supplier. The role is 80% field-based across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire, with one day weekly in the head office.

You will develop and grow business with dealerships, distributors, farms, estates and OEMs, seeking new clients and expanding product spend. A strong network in target sectors and ability to manage a field diary are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial & commercial paints or similar product lines.
• Proven track record in field-based sales across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Field based sales & business development activities
• Maintain, develop & expand product spend with current clients
• Upsell & cross-sell into current clients
• New business development, pitching to & winning new clients
• Mapping out of the territory & identifying target clients
• Defining & delivering a sales strategy with measurable results
• Market research & market intelligence gathering
• Updating the internal CRM system
• Attending industry events & exhibitions
• Face to face, telephone & email sales activities
• Completing documents & sales reports
