They are expanding their sales / business development team, recruiting for an experienced Sales Executive who has worked with similar products supplying into a diverse array of end using clients across agriculture, plant machinery, automotive, logistics (hauliers), off highway, marine, engineering, manufacturing &

Qualifications

• Experienced sales / business development professional with experience or at least some knowledge of industrial & commercial paints, oils, lubricants, coatings & sealant type products or very similar product lines.
• Experienced selling into clients across several of the following sectors; agriculture, plant machinery, automotive, logistics (hauliers), off highway, marine, engineering & manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of business opportunities in the Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire areas.
• Happy to be field based 80% of the time.
• Able to manage your own diary successfully to achieve real results.

Responsibilities

• Field based sales & business development activities
• Maintain, develop & expand product spend levels with current clients
• Up sell & cross sell into current clients additional products
• New business development, pitching to & winning new clients
• Mapping out of the territory & pin pointing target clients (new clients)
• Defining & delivering a sales strategy that delivers tangible results
• Market research & market intelligence gathering
• Updating the internal CRM system
• Attending industry events & exhibitions
• Face to face, telephone & email sales activities
• Completing documents & sales reports
