Job summary

Scottish Water is seeking a Field Response Network Service Operative for the Aberdeenshire area. You will respond to customer enquiries, make quick, well-judged decisions to resolve issues and keep disruption to a minimum.

You’ll help protect the quality and integrity of our water network and assets, using modern leak detection equipment to support fast fault finding and ensure repairs are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with strong communication, reporting and follow-up skills.
• Good working knowledge of industry standards and legislation, including HAUC specifications for reinstatement works.
• Understanding of water and sewer hygiene codes of practice, including DOMS.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues to minimize disruption.
• Protect the quality and integrity of the water network and assets; assist fast fault finding and repairs.
• Work safely, follow DOMS policies and hygiene codes; use IT systems; manage workload and meet deadlines.
