Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and site leadership in delivering utility-scale solar, BESS, and HV construction projects. The role emphasizes administrative tasks, scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and client communication while ensuring safety and quality on-site.

Applicants must be willing to relocate temporarily to project locations and travel 100% as required.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of construction experience in utilities/industrial sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with self-performing construction environments preferred.
• Proficiency with project management and construction software (P6, Procore, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Lead LNTP and pre-mobilization setup with documentation, permits, and early procurement.
• Support PM through client coordination, scope review, and planning documents.
• Manage subcontracting and procurement workflows, and review invoices.
• Prepare agendas, collect field data, and support client-facing reports.
• Oversee Project Engineer in review of drawings and submittals.
