Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to provide input and technical expertise for mechanical construction on utility-scale solar EPC projects. You will supervise field engineers and foremen, manage crews, and ensure safety, quality, and cost control on-site, while coordinating with the Site Manager and other supervision.

Qualifications

• Prior Solar EPC mechanical construction oversight.
• Valid driver license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to supervise many employees.
• Thorough reading of prints and contract documents.
• Relocation to project site is required.
• Solid understanding of job costing.
• May pursue company contract licensing or journeyman/master electrician license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises General Foremen, Field Engineers and Foremen on-site to ensure best use of resources and policy adherence.
• Schedules equipment, materials, tools, and subcontractors to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Trains and implements standardized Work Plans and assists Field Operations Manager in process improvements.
• Acts as consultant to supervisory and field personnel on mechanical scopes of work.
• Ensures safe working conditions and enforces safety regulations on site.
