Job summary

Agfa HealthCare is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist (PACS / RIS / VNA) to implement, tailor, and train on Agfa solutions across Europe North. The role drives workflow analyses, configuration, and go-live support, while maintaining strong customer relationships and ITIL-aligned processes.

The position requires deep PACS/RIS knowledge, healthcare environment experience, and the ability to travel regularly across the UK and other European regions.

Qualifications

• Ideally a BSc or DCR trained Radiographer with some PACS/RIS Administrative experience in a clinical setting.
• Prior experience with AGFA PACS/RIS is required for this role.
• Experience as a PACS/RIS System Administrator.
• Experience as a technical/applications trainer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical and interface workflow analyses with Agfa colleagues.
• Design and discuss workflows aligned with contract specs and user requirements.
• Configure and customise product and manage customer expectations and cooperation.
• Draw-up training and implementation concepts and deliver training on/off site.
• Provide go-live on-site support for new/upgraded solutions, including out-of-hours work.
• Respect project budgets to secure billable days and document per guidelines.
• Ensure timely, high-quality implementation per Agfa best practices.
• Perform fault evaluation with remote/on-site visits as directed.
• Engage in sales activities like tenders and demonstrations; attend conferences.
