Job summary

Edina is seeking an Operations Engineer in Milton Keynes to maintain and optimise gas/diesel engine installations. You will perform scheduled and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive efficiency improvements across customer sites.

The role requires mechanical/electrical qualifications, 3+ years’ experience, and a valid driving licence. Weekend work and on-call duties are included, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

Minimum ONC/NVQ Level 2 in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
At least three years' industrial mechanical/electrical experience.
In-depth knowledge of gas/diesel engines.
Strong communication and IT skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on installations in Milton Keynes and surrounding area.
Diagnose and implement reactive maintenance on client installations.
Oversee and optimise operational processes to improve productivity and reduce waste of time and materials.
Participate in 24-hour callout rota and weekend work as required.
