Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Operations Engineer to service diesel and gas engines in Dorking and surrounding areas. The role offers overtime, a company van, private healthcare, 25 days holiday, life insurance, training and progression opportunities.

You will carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on gas and diesel engine installations, diagnose faults, optimise performance and produce service reports while liaising with customers.

Qualifications

• Level 2+ engineering qualification (ONC, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).

Are you an Operations Engineer with a background working on diesel or gas engines looking to join a market-leading power generation specialist, where you'll receive attractive overtime rates, industry-leading training, and work on critical energy infrastructure across Dorking and the surrounding area?

This is an opportunity to join a leading international power generation specialist established in 1985. With over 200 employees, the business designs, manufactures, installs and maintains CHP, gas engine, biogas, landfill gas and battery storage systems that help industrial and public sector clients reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency.

In this role, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gas and diesel engine installations across Dorking and the surrounding area. You'll diagnose and implement reactive maintenance, optimise operational processes, and work closely with customers to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.

This role would suit an Operations Engineer with experience on diesel engines, gas engines or similar equipment, looking to join a well-established business offering excellent training, overtime and long-term career progression.

The Role:
