Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Operations Engineer to service diesel and gas engines in Dorking and surrounding areas. The role offers overtime, a company van, private healthcare, 25 days holiday, life insurance, training and progression opportunities.

You will carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on gas and diesel engine installations, diagnose faults, optimise performance and produce service reports while liaising with customers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of gas and diesel engines.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Willingness to work a 24-hour callout rota.
• Level 2+ engineering qualification (ONC, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on gas and diesel engines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Optimise engine performance and operational efficiency.
• Complete service reports and liaise with customers.
